But so far in the tech test it hasn’t been an issue. The one thing that will break the game down, at least Gears 4, is high fluctuation players. The low ping will have the advantage and there’s nothing out there that can prove otherwise. As I’ve said before to many others I’ve played with a higher ping and it’s in no way an advantage. But you would have been killed in the same manner even if you both had equal 5ms pings. Gears is a TPS which does allow for some funky looking stuff with its cover system. You’re letting the pings make you think that’s the issue. The other videos you it your shots and the enemy was missing shots so you won the battle. You just got wrap around shotted in the first one which isn’t a lag issue. I swear gears 2 is 1000 times funner then halo 3 but wit no dedicated servers it will never compete but in my opinion gears 2 towers over halo 3 especially when u kill sum1 der is nuttin more satisfying den sniping sum1s head off or taging sum1 with the torch and seeing there body splatter all over the place.Honestly none of those videos look out of place. I mean how in the hell is it possible that my team was up 4 rounds to 0 and all of sudden our bullets aint even hurting these guys anymore and they are running right at us not even taking cover only to see them run upto me and kill me and my team mates for the next 4 rounds which obviously made us leave.
The reason I stopped playing this game online was because of standby cheating fu**heads who ruined the fun for me. The only thing holding this game back are dedicated servers. The multiplayer for gears would have been the best multiplayer experience on the 360 if it didnt have so many issues.
Even with all the lag u went through and mediocre story.
